TD4 // 56cm // Ekar // Pistachio + Good Vibes build.

Life is too short to be serious all the time. In celebration of that, the team here at the lab built up this all-fun TD4 for display at a Topo Designs store in Denver. If you’d like to see it in person, check it out at the Cherry Creek location!

We started with our limited edition base Pistachio frameset, and then threw out the brand rulebook with a one-off custom set of bubble logo decals in a high-viz orange. Also never seen: A very unserious Traildonkey head badge and a very whimsical fork logo that replaces our traditional Spork. At its core the bike is speed and function, as are all TD4s, but on the surface we built this one to lean into the fun side of the sport. You’ll never be lost in the crowd on this rig!

The build spec is high-end through and through, with Ritchey WCS cockpit and seatpost, Selle Repente handmade ultralight salle, and most importantly: The very Italian, very nice Campagnolo Ekar 1×13 gravel groupset. Rodeo 2.0 24 spoke wheels, hand built and suspended on high-end Sapim CX-Ray spokes are shod in Gravel King SK 38mm tires. The whole package is light, tight, and hot to trot.

56cm TD4s typically fit a 5’10” – 6’0″ rider.
