A 650 x 47 can be run with fenders and that would be the max size.
At 700c the max tire with fenders is about 38mm, depending on the tire.

We’ve used FSA, Ritchey, Cane Creek, and ENVE compression plugs with equal success. We quite often see manufacturer recommended torque specifications that are not sufficient for their intended tasks (for instance handlebars or seat posts that slip).

We would do the following:

1. Clean the inside of the steer tube and the plug with alcohol to make sure it is dry and has max friction.
2. Consider using friction paste (same as a seat tube) if you like.
3. Go to the torque it was slipping at and add 1nm then see if it still slips. If it does add another. You won’t blow out the steer tube with a couple of extra newton meters of torque as it is extremely robust.

Expect around 550 grams depending on steer tube length.

Based on the info we have you would fit a 52cm. Unfortunately we’ve sold out of those for 2020. We expect to have those back in stock in early 2021.

The ACR system will only work on the Flaanimal with the press-in cups.

Here is what you would need:

ACR/ICR requires a 1.5 bearing up top and bottom. The 44mm headtube will work – but requires an external upper cup too.

We’ve had 100% reliability with our sliders / dropouts. Zero failures ever.

Inside bead to inside bead is 23mm. Narrowest part of the hooks at the outer circumference is about 20mm. External width is 29mm. We run tires 26mm up to 50mm on our 700c rims.
