light/fender mount on Spork 1.2

There is no internal threading in the crown of any Spork, they are all designed for a through bolt. The 1.2 is counter sunk at the back for a flush mounted head of the bolt with the bolt threads protruding through the front of the fork and into the rack or headlight mount.

Available stock

There are no more 54cm Flaanimal 4.1 available. We only have one remaining 48cm at the time of writing this and when that frame is sold we will archive the Flaanimal 4.1 page. Flaanimal has moved to the 5.0 specification in 2020 and beyond.

Easton EA90 crank if Praxis are sold out?

The Praxis chainrings are the only chainrings that we’ve been able to verify to work with the new Shimano 12 speed. If Easton updates their rings to work with Shimano 12 speed there should be no reason that the crank wouldn’t be awesome for the application. Easton cranks take Raceface rings as well so it is worth checking if Raceface makes Shimano 12spd rings.

Spork FSA ACR Internal Routing

It is not possible to route through the steer tube and out the lower brake port on Spork 3.0. The steer tube does not open to the inner crown area.

Spork 3.0 Recommended Expansion Plug

We’ve used FSA, Ritchey, Cane Creek, and ENVE compression plugs with equal success. We quite often see manufacturer recommended torque specifications that are not sufficient for their intended tasks (for instance handlebars or seat posts that slip).

We would do the following:

  1. Clean the inside of the steer tube and the plug with alcohol to make sure it is dry and has max friction.
  2. Consider using friction paste (same as a seat tube) if you like.
  3. Go to the torque it was slipping at and add 1nm then see if it still slips. If it does add another. You won’t blow out the steer tube with a couple of extra newton meters of torque as it is extremely robust.

Light Mounting Bracket

That is a Supernova bracket. We don’t sell it on our website. We only include it on builds that include a dynamo headlight.
