Many are familiar with the iconic children’s book Go Dog Go, but what if it had been created as Go Donkey Go. That was the request for this bike, and the results are delightful. Drew and Brad tag teamed this assignment starting with a bold, color blocked layout, and then Brad brought the layout to life with traditional mask painting before brilliantly hand drawing and painting this hilarious collections of whimsical donkeys (in tribute to the original dogs) on the head badge and downtube.
Rodeos are rare enough in standard trim, but one-off art commissions like this are the most special creations we send out from The Lab.
Happy New Bike Day to Paul! Your vision and trust on this one was exceptional!

When @wovebike proposed an idea for a TD4 build that sat far, far outside of our geometry and fit preferences, we couldn’t quite tell if the idea was a glimpse into the future, or simply rage bait. Honestly, we’re still trying to figure that out.
One thing was for sure: To be close minded about ideas that scare and polarize us didn’t feel right. Rodeo started exactly because we didn’t want anyone telling us the right and wrong way to do bikes, and that core value stands to this day.

It’s time for another guitar bike! This one inspired again by @officialgretsch , this time the Chet Atkins model with its cool doodles and glyphs. But we didn’t stop there, this bike’s owner Mitch asked for original designs in the mix as well, including a one-off head tube logo design, and a Flaanimal being abducted by a UFO.
As informal as the doodles are, this design also managed to keep things classy with its copper flake, white, and black color blocking laid over the svelte lines of the naked titanium Flaanimal 6 itself.
Happy New Bike Day, Mitch. It’s a beaut!

OUR VALUES
RIDE
Our bikes as hard as we can. Never lose touch with the fact that true inspiration for everything we do comes from time spent in the saddle.
EXPLORE
If we stay where things are familiar we will quickly grow stale. To stay challenged we always seek out the new. New paces to ride, new goals to attempt, and new people to collaborate with.
CREATE
When we return home from our adventures we take our experiences and turn them into things that we can share. Stories, photos, videos, and inspired products are the fruit of our labor.
