I noticed that the sliders on my Flaanimal 5 Ti are asymmetric when the thru-axle is aligned.  The drive-side slider is almost 1cm further forward than the non-drive slider.    None of my bikes with Paragon sliding dropouts are like this.

I was told on the phone “that’s just how the sliders are” I didn’t get a reason as to why they were designed that way.    It seems like the asymmetry is just leaving space on table, which is strange when one of the main selling point of the bike is its sliding dropouts.

Over time we’ve revised both drive and non-driveside sliders on different intervals, and for a period of time the parts were as you described. Once we use(d) up those parts that we had in inventory the next batch were made symmetrical, but even after that revision the usable slider range remains the same between all versions. The frame hits all stated fore-aft slider ranges and accommodates all tire sizes no matter which slider version was used.
