Hi Calum. There is no way to remove the peg that wouldn’t void the warranty. It would have to be ground down with some sort of angle grinder, and the heat of the grinding could affect the carbon head tube insert as well.

We haven’t noted any damage from frame bags on any Flaanimal that we’ve seen.
