Laid back but low key hyped. Donkey evolution right before your eyes. Future-proof your TD4 with our updated rear slider. This new slider bolts right onto your TD4.2 and extends the effective chainstay length by 1cm – creating greater tire clearance as a result. We’ve run tires as large as 700×2.4″ (61mm) with the Laid Back slider. Even if you never run tires that large, opening up more clearance on your frame also helps open up more mud clearance when using tires of every size.

Material: 6061-T6 Aluminum
Hardware: Right and left rear sliders. New titanium T30 bolts and LockJaw plates are not included because you simply re-use the ones from your existing standard sliders.
Adjustment: 1 full cm of fore-aft travel to dial in the geometry and tire clearance more exacting than ever before.

Why Laid Back?

Donkeys have many talents. Some are built for speed and agility, some are a powerful, trusty tractor. Whatever path your Donkey has found, the Laid Back slider lets you dial in the ideal setup for the way that you want to ride it.

- - - Cleared for clearance: An additional 1cm of fore/aft movement is the difference between “maybe” and “definitely.” when considering which large (56mm-61mm) tires fit the frame. It provides the necessary frame and rim clearance for up party-ready 2.4″ rubber depending on conditions and tread profile. (We’ve tested extensively with Vittoria Mezcals and Peyotes).
    - Not JUST Tires: Even if your riding style doesn’t need massive tires, sliding back creates a generous “mud shed” zone, because you have more important things than frame rub to worry about when the trail turns into peanut butter.
    - Let Your Donkey Donk: We don’t believe in “one size fits all” geometry or “planned obsolescence”. Let your TD4 stretch its legs and be the versatile beast it was always meant to be.
