Flaanimal 6 Titanium // 54cm // UnRivaled // Ready To Roll

We took a four month break from offering any Ready To Roll builds. This Flaanimal 6 Titanium build is one heck of a way to make a comeback!

Let’s start with the frame. We created this one-off design as a display frame for Sea Otter in April, where it turned heads and was very well received. The custom gold anodized logos pop brightly against the one-off hand painted ocean blue Cerakote, all against a backdrop of both brushed and media blasted titanium. The Flaanimal 6 Ti is our newest Rodeo Labs frameset, and is set apart from the competition thanks to its beatuiful tube shaping, 3d printed and seamlessly blended details, sculpted headtube, oversized T47 Keg bottom bracket, phenomenal tire clearance, and of course the incredibly versatile LockJaw 2 sliding dropout system. The frame is elegant enough for high speed gravel racing duties, but also capable enough to be loaded up and ridden from Banff to New Mexico. We have never before offered a 6.0 Ti as a Ready To Roll bike, but this frame’s unique purpose allowed us a special opportunity.

For the build, we selected Sram’s brand new Sram Rival AXS E1 shift levers, with their radically upgraded ergonomics and braking power. They feature carbon levers just like Sram Red does, and one squeeze will let you know how much the bar has been raised.

For the drivetrain we also used Sram Rival in a 2x AXS wireless shifting configuration. Always looking for a chance to add panache, we specced an AluGear 2x front chainring done in a bright and complementary gold finish which perfectly accents the frame. The rings are paired to a carbon Praxis Zayante crankset which are both lightweight and trouble free across the range of road, gravel, MTB, and ultra riding conditions.

For the cockpit we also wanted to compliment the frame, so we opted for Ritchey Classic polished and clear anodized aluminum controls.

The saddle is an ultralight and ultra comfortable handmade Italian Selle Repente Quasar, with hollow stainless steel rails. It’s the most well loved saddle that we offer, and is tastefully embellished with the Rodeo logo.

The wheels use our ultra light and even ultra-stronger Rodeo 3.0X carbon wheels, which are not only up to the rigors of fast gravel and road riding, but have also been proven on full mountain bikes in ultra racing conditions. These wheels are hand built here at Rodeo Labs, and are laced with light, strong, aero, and beautiful silver Sapim CX-Ray spokes with matching silver brass Sapim nipples. Our lightweight 24 hole Rodeo 3.0 hubs keep the wheelset weight at a feathery 1355gr.

This 54cm build will best fit a rider from 5’8″ to 5’10”.
