Flaanimal 5.0 // 54cm // Overland Gravel Spec

When we decide to build a Ready To Roll bike for immediate sale, we always make it a bit special. This bike is no exception. We took a Flaanimal 5.0 steel / carbon as the base platform, then outfitted it with an Apex 1x 12 wide range mullet drivetrain so that the bike would have a gear for pretty much any conditions that you would ever take it out into. We then decided to build on the fun and comfortable end of the use spectrum, opting for 650b Rodeo 2.0 carbon rims laced to 3.0 hubs, and shod with 2.25″ Maxxis Ikon tires, which are a staple for bikepackers and trail rippers both. We like to make every Rodeo Labs bike visually interesting, so on this build we specced a gold 10-50 cassette, gold chain, and gold Wolf Tooth EC44 headset. Our gold pine trees bar tape and forest green frame decals round out the visual package, but un and understated way. Seating is handled by the Italian made Selle Repente Quasar saddle supported by hollow stainless steel rails, and boasting a 162g weight that is lighter than most saddles on the market, but with the durability any conditions. Easton handlebars, stem, seatpost, and crankset not only match, but are top of market for function and durability in the gravel space. There is no part on this build that isn’t 10/10 functional, reliable, race level, and packed with value.
