Dealtime Flaanimal 5.0 // 56cm // Ekar // 3.0 Carbon rims

This ready to roll 56cm Flaanimal 5.0 build started life as a custom commissioned Tequila Sunrise Cerakote frameset. The Cerakote coating is a $400 option on our Flaanimal framesets, and sets this build apart from our standard black + decal offerings. While unmasking the finish there were a few small blemishes on the lettering, so we set the frameset aside for refinishing later. But then it hit us: “Why not just offer this Flaanimal as-is as a specially priced deal for someone who doesn’t mind about small paint details?”. We ran with that idea and built up a beautifully specced ready to roll bike featuring ultra light Campagnolo Ekar 13 speed shifting. On this build we also hand laced a set of pre-production 3.0 carbon rims with Sapim CX-Ray spokes. These race ready wheels feature a 24.5mm internal width and a 38mm depth for superior function with modern larger volume gravel tires as well as a more aero rim profile. These rims also visibily show their unique layup which includes a spread tow black dyed Innegra Textreme fiber. Innegra fibers increase the impact resistance in carbon fiber layups, and make these rims 170% stronger in impact tests than our previous 2.0 carbon rims.
